The University of Chakwal (UoC) covered another milestone by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SWT to start the English Access Scholarship Program, which is sponsored by RELO (Regional English Language Office) and the US ... Embassy. The program has its presence in 85 countries around the world. Since its inception in Pakistan in 2004, it has produced more than 27,000 alumni across the country.
The Access Program would provide an opportunity to 100 students in their teens to learn English language skills, hone their communication skills, build confidence, and explore leadership, entrepreneurship, and even e-commerce opportunities. The RELO program has come to UoC through the consistent and untiring efforts of Prof. Sajjad. The MoU was executed by the Registrar on behalf of UoC.

A welcome ceremony was held in the honor of Engr. Mir Masood Rashid, Advisor to Chairman PEC on 7th May, 2024 in which the Faculty and students of the Engineering Departments participated. The esteemed guest appreciated the enthusiasm of ... WVC, Prof. Dr Mohammad Bilal Khan and commended his efforts towards the university as a whole and the engineering disciplines in particular. After the introductory remarks by the WVC, the advisor delivered a presentation outlining the proactive measures undertaken by PEC such as STEM, Graduate Internship Training, E-Gateway, FYDPs, and Day Trip Learning.
Further, engr. Mir Masood Rashid also presented cheques for 40% of the allocated funds to the winning students of Capstone Projects in the Departments of Electronics and Mechatronics Engineering. The remaining 60% will be credited directly to the winning student’s accounts by PEC.

Please be informed that the UET Taxila Rules & Regulations were adopted in the 1st meeting of the Syndicate of the University of Chakwal and applicable exclusively to the Fall 2020 and 2021 sessions. However, the subsequent sessions (i.e., Fall-2022 and ... onwards) will follow the regulations set forth by the University of Chakwal, approved in its 9th meeting of the Syndicate.
It is important to clarify that under the UET Taxila Rules & Regulations, an 'A' grade is awarded at 90 marks, whereas, according to the UOC Semester Regulations, an 'A' grade is awarded at 85 marks. Therefore, for the Fall-2020 and Fall-2021 sessions, degrees will be conferred based on the UET Taxila Rules & Regulations.
This decision has been taken to ensure the future prospects of our graduating students. We encourage all students to address any concerns and queries regarding the matter with relevant offices.

Mohsin Tarar and engr Qasim Bukhari, on behalf of ECT group UOC, presented the IC design work and temperature monitoring instrument whereas the later was a collaborative work between RIMMS, DAT and UOC.
