UOC Library and its collections, services provide vital support for students, researchers and staff, complementing academic activities. Library provides for access to the world of information – whether in print or online. The library has a collection of more than 44000 books and subscribes technical journals. Access to HEC digital library is also available. Reading zones and discussion rooms have been built for the patrons of the Library. Both wired and wireless connectivty are avaialble.
UOC offers on-campus residence to its students as there are numerous benefits to living on campus including convenience, opportunities to develop life-long friendships, and to live in an environment that fosters the educational and personal growth of students.
Network Administration and Research Center (NARC) was founded to provide better support and services to the University. NARC is responsible for design and development of networking infrastructure within University. It also provides 24 hour internet facilities for the university. Wireless hotspots are available in campus of the of the university to use internet and Intranet services for students and researchers. NARC staff comprises of highly skilled, well qualified and technically competent workers who perform their tasks as a passion of their life. NARC is not only limited to provide services to the University, it also helps in providing technical assistance to other projects of national interest. NARC staff is actively involved in providing consultancy services to other universities and educational institutes, thus contributing towards the development of IT infrastructure of Pakistan.
Students are provided access to a variety of sports facilities at UOC main campus to suit their mood and time. The campus has halls for indoor games. Outdoor facilities, catering for cricket, basketball, tennis and badminton are also provided. In addition, a full week is reserved in every regular semester to organize 'Sports Week'.
A bus service has been arranged for the students to travel to and from Chakwal throughout each semester at scheduled hours. Students are also provided official transport for excursions, study tours and, in some cases, emergencies. The provisions for excursions and emergencies may be charged.
University of Chakwal supports the mental health of students, faculty, staff and their families by providing emotional and psychological counselling in addition to professional counselling.
The Career Development focuses on the capacity building of students through skill development essential for the job market in their field of study. In addition, Career Development Centre helps students acquire requisite skills to compete in the marketplace through career modules, networking events, class presentations, curriculum up-gradation and co-curricular activities.
Getting involved with extracurricular activities during your time here at UOC is a great way to learn something new and immerse yourself in the dynamic student community at UOC. Participating in student activities and programs has been proven to have a positive correlation with psychosocial development. Students involved in student organizations were observed during their freshman and senior year of university and reported having higher levels of development in regards to career planning, life management, cultural participation and educational involvement.

The University mosques are located in the heart of the campus near where the university community offers their daily prayers as well as Juma prayer.
The existing complex law and order situation demands sound security arrangements from any organization that reflects the sense of extreme care and protection of its personnel. Within available resources, the University of Chakwal has an effective and vigilant security system on the campus. Apart from a trained regular University security staff, the services of a private security company has also been hired to provide secure and safe environment to our valuable students, staff and faculty members.
