UOC supports the mental health of students, faculty, staff and their families by providing emotional and psychological counselling in addition to professional counselling.

The Counselling provides primary mental health services. The core objective is to provide professional counselling service for educational, social, emotional or psychological issues that may inhibit personal or professional performance and advancement. It also conducts psychological tests for the students. The purpose of these activities is to provide psychological support as well as to meet the growing need of the university to promote the wellbeing and personal development of all associated. The programme provides consultation, psychological testing, psycho-educational programmes, training and workshops. Standardised psychological tests are used to assess Intelligence Quotient (IQ), Emotional Quotient (EQ). Personality aptitude, career interests, stress, anxiety and depression.
