UOC Hosts Two-Day International Relations Conference

The Department of International Relations at University of Chakwal organized a two-day conference titled Strategic Dynamics and Security Risks in the Era of Persistent Conflict. The event brought together students, faculty members, and participants from different walks of life to promote academic discussion on contemporary global conflicts, regional security, and changing international political dynamics.

The chief guest of the conference was renowned scholar and analyst Dr. Tahir Naeem Malik, while the Vice Chancellor of the university, Dr. Farrukh Arslan Siddiqui, attended as the guest of honor. Before the formal proceedings, the Vice Chancellor visited a Strategic Studies exhibition prepared by students and appreciated their creative and research-based efforts. On this occasion, Imad Gul, along with his classmates, presented a bouquet to the Vice Chancellor.

Several speakers addressed important global issues during the conference. Zubair Farooq spoke about the alliance between the United States and Israel and its impact on global crises. Dr. Muneeba Sana highlighted the economic and international dimensions of U.S.-Iran tensions. Saeeda Usmani discussed global trade routes and their military significance, while Saira Sajid shared her views on the evolving concepts of security in the modern era.

In his concluding address, Dr. Tahir Naeem Malik spoke in detail about U.S. wars in the Middle East, regional politics, and global security challenges. He encouraged students to understand international affairs through research, critical thinking, and constructive dialogue.

The two-day conference proved to be a successful academic activity for students, providing young participants with an effective platform to express their views on global politics and security-related issues.
