The Faculty of Pharmacy, The Univeristy of Chakwal proudly organized the NextGen Pharma Expo-2026 on 6th May 2026 under the umbrella of UPSC , in partnership with AWACS Laboratories, Chakwal. The event was designed to provide students with a dynamic platform to demonstrate their scientific knowledge, professional competencies, and innovative ideas in the field of pharmacy.
The event was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Farrukh Arsalan Siddiqui, who also presented an overview of the Expo and appreciated the dedication and efforts of the students, faculty members, organizers, and collaborators for making the event a remarkable success. Participants presented creative Pharmaceutical Formulations, Research Ideas presentation, and Scientific Models, making the event highly interactive, educational, and inspiring. Distinguished guests/Experts from different cities joined the Expo that included Dr. Sobia Jawad (GM, Awacs Laboratories), Mr. Jamil Khan (Director, Awacs Laboratories), Dr. Jawad Javaid (CEO, Awacs Laboratories), Mr. Asif Nazir (Toastmasters Certified Leader, a renoenwd Motivational Speaker), Dr. Naveed Anwar Ch. (Drug Controller, RWP), Dr. Rao Abdul Hameed (Ex-Drug Controller, Chakwal), Dr. Syed Suhail Raza (CEO, FIPS), Dr. Nageen Zahra (QCM, Awacs / Technical expert), Dr. Deeba Naz (Microbiologist / Technical expert) and Ms. Saman Mudasir (QC Incharge / Technical expert). The event concluded with an insightful seminar on leadership skills by Mr. Asif Nazir followed by a technical workshop for senior Pharmacy students, conducted by Dr. Syed Suhail Raza and Dr. Sobia Javed, making the Expo a valuable and inspiring learning experience for all participants.
