The University of Chakwal celebrated Pakistan’s 80th Independence Day (79th anniversary) with a flag-hoisting ceremony and a special seminar.
The ceremony began with the hoisting of the national flag by Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Farrukh Arsalan Siddiqui, followed by a special prayer for the progress, prosperity, peace, and stability of Pakistan.
A special seminar was subsequently held in the Seminar Hall, attended enthusiastically by students and faculty members. Addressing the participants, the Vice Chancellor said:
“Today reminds us that freedom is not merely a historical event but a sacred trust whose protection and progress is a shared responsibility. The mission of the University of Chakwal is to equip our youth with knowledge, character, and patriotism so that they can contribute to making Pakistan a strong, developed, and self-reliant nation. Let us renew our commitment to dedicating all our abilities to the service of our country.”
At the conclusion, the Worthy Vice Chancellor cut a cake along with faculty members, students, and children and conveyed his Independence Day greetings.
Faculty members, staff, students, and children from all departments participated enthusiastically in the celebrations, which concluded with the national anthem.
