The Vice Chancellor of the University of Chakwal, Prof. Dr. Farrukh Arsalan Siddiqui, participated in an interactive session of Vice Chancellors from across Punjab, chaired by Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, Chairman, Higher Education Commission (HEC), to discuss priorities for strengthening higher education.
Hosted by the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, the session focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration, competency-based education, curriculum reform, Outcome-Based Education (OBE), quality assurance, and enhancing academic standards.
Addressing the participants, Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar emphasized the effective integration of AI into teaching, learning, and institutional practices, urging universities to equip faculty and students with practical AI skills to meet future academic and professional challenges.
