Eligibility Criteria for Admission

 

a. All Existing Faculties other than the Faculty of Engineering and Technology

The following is the minimum Eligibility Criteria of admission for different departments:

i. BS Botany

50% marks in Intermediate or Equivalent with Pre Medical Combination. Provisional Admission may be granted on the basis of Intermediate Part-I result with a minimum of 50% marks.

i. BS Zoology

50% marks in Intermediate or Equivalent with Pre Medical Combination. Provisional Admission may be granted on the basis of Intermediate Part-I result with a minimum of 50% marks.

iii. BS Chemistry

50% marks in Intermediate or Equivalent with F.Sc (Pre Engineering)/ F.Sc (Pre-Medical). Provisional Admission may be granted on the basis of Intermediate Part-I result with a minimum of 50% marks.

iv. BS Mathematics

50% marks in Intermediate or Equivalent with F.Sc (Pre Engineering)/ICS/ F.Sc (Pre-Medical with Additional Mathematics). Provisional Admission may be granted on the basis of Intermediate Part-I result with a minimum of 50% marks.

v. BS Physics

50% marks in Intermediate or Equivalent with F.Sc (Pre Engineering)/ICS/ F.Sc (Pre Medical). Provisional Admission may be granted on the basis of Intermediate Part-I result with a minimum of 50% marks.

vi. BS Computer Science

50% marks in Intermediate or equivalent with F.Sc (Pre-Engg.)/ICS/ F.Sc / Pre-Medical with Additional Course of Mathematics are also eligible). Provisional Admission may be granted on the basis of Intermediate Part-I result with a minimum of 50% marks.

vii. BS Information Technology

50% marks in Intermediate or equivalent with F.Sc (Pre-Engg.)/ICS/ F.Sc / Pre-Medical with Additional Course of Mathematics are also eligible). Provisional Admission may be granted on the basis of Intermediate Part-I result with a minimum of 50% marks.

viii. BS Economics

50% marks in Intermediate or Equivalent. Provisional Admission may be granted on the basis of Intermediate Part-I result with a minimum of 50% marks.

ix. BS English

50% marks in Intermediate or Equivalent. Provisional Admission may be granted on the basis of Intermediate Part-I result with a minimum of 50% marks.

x. BS Islamic Studies

50% marks in Intermediate / Shahadat al Khasa (Equivalence certificate by IBCC). Provisional Admission may be granted on the basis of Intermediate Part-I result with a minimum of 50% marks.

xi. BS International Relations

50% marks in Intermediate or Equivalent. Provisional Admission may be granted on the basis of Intermediate Part-I result with a minimum of 50% marks.

xii. BS Sociology

50% marks in Intermediate or Equivalent. Provisional Admission may be granted on the basis of Intermediate Part-I result with a minimum of 50% marks.

xiii. BS Urdu

50% marks in Intermediate or Equivalent. Provisional Admission may be granted on the basis of Intermediate Part-I result with a minimum of 50% marks.

xiv. BS Human Nutrition & Dietetics

50% marks in Intermediate or Equivalent with Pre Medical Combination. Provisional Admission may be granted on the basis of Intermediate Part-I result with a minimum of 50% marks.

xv. LLB (5-Year)

50% marks in Intermediate or Equivalent. Provisional Admission may be granted on the basis of Intermediate Part-I result with a minimum of 50% marks. The Candidate must have passed Law Admission Test (LAT) in last two years.

xvi. BBA

50% marks in Intermediate or Equivalent. Provisional Admission may be granted on the basis of Intermediate Part-I result with a minimum of 50% marks.

 

b. Faculty of Engineering and Technology

The following minimum Eligibility Criteria for admission in B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering and Petroleum and Gas Engineering:

60% marks in Intermediate or Equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. In addition, a combination of Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science (ICS) is allowed for admission in all Engineering Programs, with Chemistry as a remedial subject/course in the 1st semester after admission. Provisional Admission may be granted on the basis of Intermediate Part-I result with a minimum of 60% marks.
